Kirkintilloch 10K

Held in June, this friendly race takes place primarily on the towpath of the Forth & Clyde canal between Kirkintilloch and Cadder. It offers a scenic and relatively flat course, with only one short climb, so there is PB potential. The race is limited to 350 runners and usually sells out.

Registration is held from 6:30pm at St Ninian’s High School and items can be left here during the race, The 10K starts at 7:30pm on Northbank Avenue and finishes at the back gate of the school.

The course is accurately measured and chip timed. There are kilometres markers along the course and a water station at Cadder, approximately 5K in.
